Vehicle category
A water bowser, also called a water tanker truck or water sprinkler truck, supplies water for construction sites, haul roads, road wetting and dust control. Compare tank volume, pump and outlets alongside the selected chassis. Chengli Group offers project customisation and OEM/ODM.

Compare effective tank volume separately from total tank volume. The FAW 6.88 m³, CL5160 10 m³ and Dongfeng 10.63 m³ configurations offer different starting points; the 14 m³ 6×4 is another option. These examples are not minimum or maximum limits for the range. Open each product specification to compare its tank, chassis and water-distribution equipment.
Start with the area to be wetted per shift, application rate and distance to the refill point. Estimate water demand for one working cycle, then compare working fill and refill time. Larger nominal capacity does not by itself establish how much water the completed vehicle can carry. Match the outlet flow to travel speed and coverage rather than selecting only by the tank label.
Compare turning space, wheelbase, road surfaces and gradients. Review tyres, suspension, traction and axle limits for the chosen chassis; axle count alone does not establish rough-road capability. Identify where water will be collected and how long a refill takes.
Specify front or rear spray bars for road wetting, side outlets where needed and hose connections for transfer duties. Identify outlets that must run together. Agree flow and pressure at those outlets, hose connections, pump drive and refill method.
Specify tank capacity and material, pump, refill equipment, front/rear/side outlets, paint and fleet branding with Chengli Group Project customisation and OEM/ODM are available. Discuss the desired chassis and steering side together with the tank and working equipment, rather than treating the upper body as independent of vehicle mass.
For projects in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe, send the destination, intended route and local chassis-support requirements with the vehicle brief. The quotation should identify the complete vehicle configuration and delivery scope.
Water bowser price depends on the chassis, tank arrangement, pump, outlets, quantity and delivery scope. Send the intended work, water demand, tank requirement, preferred chassis, steering side, destination country and port. Ask the offer to separate vehicle equipment from freight, insurance and destination charges.
Final technical specifications and commercial delivery scope are agreed in the quotation.
Request a quoteThe terms overlap, but equipment can differ. Identify whether the job needs water transport, road spraying or transfer through hoses, then compare the tank, pump and outlets.
Compare water demand, refill distance and time, access, and the selected vehicle's mass and axle limits. No single tank size is the most suitable for every site.
Yes. Discuss pump, outlet arrangement and refill method with the order. Steering-side options depend on the selected chassis and are stated in the quotation.
Yes. Water bowsers can be built for drinking water transport. Tell us this when you enquire, so that the tank and pump are specified for that use.
Use three real project situations to compare water bowser tank size, refill reliability and spray coverage, then examine specific vehicle configurations.

EXPORT DELIVERY
A batch of Shacman water tank trucks was dispatched for export, including 15 m³ single-rear-axle and 20 m³ rear-twin-axle configurations.
